Summary of Outsourcing Experience:

Over 10 years experience in IT off-shore sourcing and development of IT capabilities in India. In 1998 successfully implemented sourced IT capabilities for the newly formed Company, Agilent Technologies formed from the split with Hewlett Packard. Traveled to India and worked with the HP ISO (International Services Organization) to develop AMS Service Level agreements and transition plans for the existing suite of Order Fulfillment, Logistics and Business Intelligence Applications. This plan needed to be executed quickly in line with separation agreements between Agilent and Hewlett Packard.

Between 2000 and 2003 led the IT Oracle ERP implementation at Agilent Technologies, which replaced the legacy environment originally out-sourced at the time Agilent was formed. Following the stabilization in 2003, Ran a series of RFP’s to identify an AMS provider for the Oracle Business Suite. Oracle was selected and during a 6 month period, transitioned AMS services to Oracle off-shore services in Bangalore, India. During this time also worked with Oracle to define service level requirements and a serviced performance maturity plan.

In 2004, traveled with the internal Audit & Security teams to conduct a full off-shore audit with emphasis on compliance of Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) and to assess physical security of our India off-shore providers. This Audit was conducted over a 3 week period and covered 4 vendors (Oracle, Satyam, TCS & Deloitte) in 4 Cities (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi & Mumbai)

Starting in 2005, built a captive off-shore IT organization and capability in Delhi, India. This program included, identification of IT services, Knowledge Transfer planning, set-up of the physical real estate in India, staffing of local resources, working with local recruiting firms and working across the IT functions with IT Leaders to develop and support their staffing and start-up plans.
