Ravi is currently the Senior Director of Global Solutions at Symantec. He joined VERTIAS' Office of CTO in August 2002 to lead new product initiatives including utility computing, email archiving and regulatory compliance. Over the past 18 years he has held various senior management positions in product development, marketing and business development. Prior to VERITAS he was General Manager of Enterprise Content Management business at Akamai Technologies . Before that he was VP of Business Development at Palm-Handspring. He also held senior management positions at Sun Microsystems and McKinsey & Company. Ravi started his career as a key member of the Technical Staff at Sun Microsystems in 1990, where he was involved in defining and implementing a critical portion of Sun’s first 64-bit system design (Ultra-I). He earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
