Rusty Weston - ModeratorAn award-winning journalist, researcher and public speaker with two decades of business technology experience, Rusty Weston founded Third Set Media in the fall of 2006 with the idea of building an immersive new media platform dedicated to delivering world class content in innovative ways. Weston’s most recent assignment as editor of a global business publication proved pivotal to the inception of My Global Career, the first careers site serving the unique information requirements of global workers. Weston also writes Job World, a careers blog for Fast Company magazine. Rusty’s outsourcing experience is both firsthand and as a journalist in the U.S. and overseas. He spearheaded several Web-based development projects that involved sourcing and managing providers in India and the U.S. His journalism experience involved managing a team of journalists based in Gurgaon, India in the production of Global Services magazine, a JV between Indian and American publishing companies. Rusty has written extensively about outsourcing and also engages in corporate writing projects that deal with best practices in sourcing and managing service providers. He is a frequent speaker , host and moderator at outsourcing conferences in the U.S., India and Europe. An early adopter of online journalism, Weston edited InformationWeek.com, which under his direction received the Jesse Neal Award, one of the nation's most prestigious journalism honors.
